The Man, The Myth, the Madman! Chimpo je DJ, producent, remixer, MC, host in tudi veliki punmaster! Specialist za avtentičen old skool Jungle, v lastne komade in DJ sete vnaša tudi svoje druge glasbene ljubezni – ritme, zvoke, glasove, inspiracije Grime-a, Dubstep-a, Dancehall-a, Hip Hop-a in Soul-a.
Z več izdanimi singli, dvema albuma, prepoznavnimi vokalnimi vložki in brezčasnim stilom, redno servira odmevnejše drum and bass himne. Sodeloval je z mnogimi artisti; Calibre, Kings of The Rollers, Dub Phizix, Skeptical, Big Narstie, Footsie, Trigga in največjimi založbami kot so Metalheadz, Exit Records, Critical Music, V Recordings, Astrophonica in Soul:r. Bil je tudi član zasedb Levelz in Richie Brains.

Gibanje in ime Gonobeats izhajata iz Slovenskih Konjic (Gonobitz – staro nem.). Ljubezen drug do drugega, hudih beat-ov, nizkih frekvenc in visokih decibelov soundsystem kulture je združila prijatelje v ekipo, ki je kljub skromnem lokelnem dogajanju, underground zvoke prenesla na sceno. Za mešalko se vsak v svojem unikatnem stilu izmenjujejo Ali, Bushee, lowcase, Kian, Truenah, Rotkart in Stivi. Poleg Gonobeats ekipe, pa bo event podkrepil znan obraz in pionir slovenske bass scene – Sunneh.

From the underground shelters of Konjice and after an orienteering walk through our local scene, this time we’re bringing UK bass in personified form – CHIMPO to Slovenia. For the last time before the festival season, we’ll be avoiding the sunrays together at our favorite club, CH0.
The Man, The Myth, The Madman! Chimpo is a DJ, producer, remixer, MC, host and punmaster extraordinaire! With his fresh and timeless style Chimpo blesses the floor with his extremely diverse selection. Recently specializing in authentic old skool Jungle, he infuses his other musical loves into his songs and sets, taking sounds, voices and rhythms from Grime, Dubstep, Dancehall, Hip Hop and Soul and stirring them into the pot.
With two albums under his belt and having vocalled some of the biggest Drum n Bass anthems of the last few years, he stands as a highly rated and influential artist. His authenticity is further solidified by those he has worked with; Calibre, Kings of The Rollers, Dub Phizix, Kings of the Rollers, Skeptical, Big Narstie, Footsie & Trigga all count as collaborators. He has also released music with Metalheadz, Exit Records, Critical, Astrophonica, Soul:R and V Recordings and counted as part of infamous crews Levelz and Richie Brains.

The movement and name of Gonobeats stem from Slovenske Konjice (Gonobitz – old German). Love for each other, sick beats, low frequencies, and high decibels brought friends together, forming a team that, despite modest local happenings, brought underground sounds to the scene. Behind the decks, each of them takes turns in their unique style: Ali, Bushee, lowcase, Kian, Truenah, Rotkart, and Stivi. In addition to the Gonobeats crew, the event will be supported by a familiar face and pioneer of the Slovenian bass scene – Sunneh.
